I listen to music at 1 or 2 bars (out of 17, up to 4 bars on a loud bus, 7 bars becomes uncomfortable for me) on my ipod touch, my iems are rated at  16ohms and 109db/mw, how much further can i turn up my volume without causing damage? I enjoy listening at high volumes but I'm afraid to damage my ears so i turn the volume to the the minium i need to hear all the details

Hmm we'd need to know the output at each volume setting of the ipod touch.

Damage to my ears, I'm sure the ipod is capable of producing more than 100db
