I know, this is going to be the 101th (my number 100 was wrongly placed) topic of someone asking for advice on wich amp/dac to buy for a laptop but using the search only got me more confused then i was when i started looking.
I am looking for a amp/dac (doesnt have to be in 1 case as its not for portable use) to drive my sennheiser 558.
My demands are that i dont want soundcolouring or what so ever ! The signal has to be fed thru a dac and then amped without anything added (like a tube amps have their signatures wich i dont want).
To be short, id like a combination wich sounds detailed and makes the 558 (or future cans) play the tracks as they are supposed to sound.
My budget for this is around $300,-
Music i listnen to variates, RnB, hip-hop and anything else with a good sounding beat. Especially the tracks with a more "complicated" beats as the usual Rnb/hip-hop have.
I hope i have provided enough information so someone can help me out.
PS: I know that the vid of airplanes hasnt been mastered perfectly so it has some distortion in it (or its my crappy onboard doing this) but it just serves as an example of a beat.
