The sennheiser IE8 has amazing synergy with Nuforce Icon Mobile and i will recommend this over E7.

I have E7 with IE8's and it's great! The only problem is that once you hear the dac/amp combo from your computer; you don't wont to go back to just the amp section!!! I listen to ipod or iphone most of the time (ipod sound way better than iphone with E7 amp!). Now I'm trying to figure out weather to go up stream with a better amp or all out for like dac/amp hp-p1. Or i'm even considering carrying around an ipad just to get the dac/amp combo out of my E7, it sounds that good to me! But I know that isn't going to work long term! I've read a post that suggested that a silver corded IE8 on a classic ipod get close to about as good as it gets; that comparing to high end amps only.
