Spotify is now available in the USA

Highly recommended for its breadth of available music (it excludes the usual suspects such as The Beatles, AC/DC and Metallica), the ease of use and quality of its streamed sound.

I use an invite on another forum and I'm digging Spotify. A genius idea.

Spotify uses Ogg Vorbis to stream and I do, from blind testing find it has a fuller sound than other lossy formats. I find even the lower bit rate of 160kbps hard to differentiate from lossless codecs, the higher 320kbps is nigh on impossible.

 

All Spotify users should also avail themsleves of this site for recommended music
