milosolo, glad you you plan to make it. Bring your gear we will be happy to listen to it. Bring your questions we probably answer them. Meets are very laid back. Everyone is very nice and helpful. We have some awesome gear at the Seattle Meets. And the aftermeets.........beerchug.gif

Speaking for myself, we're a pretty open group.  There's almost always one or two folks who are new to meets, so you are more than welcome to join in.  As long as you treat equipment and people with respect, I'm sure there won't be any problems.

What is your primary language?  Someone else might know it.  And don't worry about being shy, because most of us are definitely not.  LOL

My primary language is Indonesian...

aside from my gear, is there anything that i need to bring ?

yes...you can bring a 12 or a 24 pack of beer.

...and bring an open mind, because you'll be dealing with yahoos like me and sachu.  o2smile.gif

On the serious side, Gil will have to let us know what the food and drink policy at the place is.  I think most libraries let you bring in packaged food and drink, as long as you have them in the meeting room area.  If we are allowed that and depending on if anyone is doing a Costco run or something, a snack and something to drink is probably a good idea.

Rev 2 LCD-2 is in the house, by the way, so should be around for the meet to make direct comparisons to the older version of the drivers unless I get a crazy impulse to sell something.

Rad, glad to see we are having another meet. I had fun at Bottlehead. Ill bring basically the same.

Lyr

Woo Audio 2

3Move

Arrow 3G

Music Streamer ii

Crap, my Bifrost wont ship until Aug 31 so no Lyr > Bifrost combo to display.

Plus Ill have all the PMP's in my sig in case anyone wants to play with any of them.

See you soon fellas and thanks Big Poppa for organizing this!

Cool, I been wanting to give the k1000 a spin on my BA. I have thought about buying 1 a couple of times.

I wish I knew how to quit Head-Fi, but Head-Fi won't quit me!

Or in other words, I just booked a flight and will see you guys there. Auspicious timing on this meet as I've been wanting to revisit Seattle, time & money is available, and August is supposedly a good time to visit, right? wink.gif

If there's someone who'd be able to receive gear to take to the meet and then ship back for me (I'll cover cost of shipping of course), I could probably have my HeadAmp KGSS and Stax OII MKI & SR-507 there. Otherwise will probably be packing my Arcam rDac, Gilmore Lite, and Audio-Technica AD2000.

I forget the guy who brough the analog rig to the last meet. hope he makes it as well.

I think Gary (Smeggy) will be making the meet too..at least i will certainly push him to make it out there).

And for after meet, i'll want to be riding with someone who knows how to get around Seattle (that does not include you Ethan  lol very_evil_smiley.gif)

Haha!  Will be good to have you again man!  If no one else offers, I can receive and ship stuff, but would be from work's mail room.  Good rates and pick up times on UPS and USPS available since I work for Amazon.  Even if you don't decide to bring stuff, will be good to have you though!

Super.  If curbfeeler wasn't there, wouldn't feel like a Seattle meet.

Do you mean Ironbut's reel-to-reel analog rig with the Jades or Serge's vinyl setup.  Both are fun.

And about knowing the way around Seattle...thppppt!  I blame it on technology!  The GPS led me astray!  Or through construction zones at any rate.

aah..serge..yeah that's the guy.

Count me in. Would be nice to try Stax Omega 2.
