Josh: thanks for the offer of the cart.  Just in case there is no wheelchair ramp to the basement (?) proper, I'll bring along a dolly to navigate those bloomin' stairs...Got all packed up and raring to go!   But at 150+ lbs of stuff, I have gone to the dark side of this hobby... Took me about 3 hours, too..bringing 3 systems and 4 cans, (so Tink97 won't be left with the silent treatment).

 

I should get there about 10ish, just to get a parking spot near the path of least resistance...

 

For me the aftermeet will be the Hempfest...LOL.

I'm excited to take part - will officially be my first headfi meet.... will likely be a little late but am definitely looking forward.

 

I don't have much, but just to confirm will be bringing:

 

 

Audio Technica W1000x

 

Maybe my HD650, SM3 - and maybe my Macbook + Apogee Duet... likely not.

Well I have to say, I was really impressed with the meet today despite me being there for about 1.5 hours.

 

I think the Sennheiser HD 800's, LCD-2's, and the AKG K-1000 headphones really 'wowed' me the most. I look forward to future meetings!

Yeah, I had a great time. It was nice to meet everyone and see all that audio gear.

 

It was very good to hear other rigs and help me get some perspective on what I like and don't like.

 

Ethan, I really liked the sound of your laptop > DAC > Schiit Lyr with my HD600's. And your Grado's sounded nice paired with the Woo 2. I thought I hated Grado's and now, thanks to you, I know better. I'm looking forward to the next meet!
