What should i get

should i get the audiotechnica pro700mk2 or the audiotechnica m50s. I am aware that the pro700mk2 have a huge bass but since i have never tried them out i cant vouch for them. are they to overpowering or do they have a nice blend of mid high and bass. I am going to use them at home and school, i listen to hip hop rap and rock

The m50 is the safer bet.  The pro700s have a lot lot lot of bass and for me it is overpowering.  I don't listen to hip hop though, so take that for what it is.

The M50's are good with hip-hop, but not much for rock to my ears.
