My lifestyle just isn't lending itself to woodies at the moment, and I'm looking to get rid of these to get more gadget goodies. They're great headphones, but right now I'm going to stick with the more durable DT-770.
The SR225s are an older headphile mod, cabled with silver I believe, and terminated to 1/8th. As for the cups themselves I'm unsure on the wood, as I am not the original owner, however they are extremely light and a very dark red. The back of the cups retail the plastic Grado lettering and silver mesh standard on the SR225, and it's been further modded with foam padding on the headband. Sound is quite mellow for a Grado and pretty relaxing when compared to my old 325s, but just as clear.
These are not the exact cans, but they look exactly like this except with headband padding and terminated to mini:

For full disclosure, a wire in the right earphone came loose recently. I promptly fixed it.
