Hahahaha, those are a pair of Skullcandy headphones if I recall correctly. I think I saw someone post this picture in the "Ugliest headphones ever" thread.

Wow, that's a pretty large-looking noise cancelling unit if it is one...maybe I'm just used to seeing Sony's noise-cancelling units which are smaller.

Yup it is indeed the NC unit. My brother used to have one.
