I have a slight humming, well actually closer to a buzzing which is just barely audible in the silence of a record. [Quieter than an ungrounded turntable hum]. I don't think it is a grounding issue as I replaced the entire oxidized ground wire and made sure everything is in working order. I also suspected it might of been power related but it still buzzes without being plugged in. I'm currently suspecting the cartridge is not loaded properly (wrong pre-amp). It still did with with a few different pre-amps I have, one of which is receiver/amplifier.

And I've read somewhere that it is a "Dual Magnet Phonograph Cartridge" if that means anything (other than a typical stereo cart.). Is this the typical MM or a MC? I would appreciate Head-Fi's input and theories.
I'll be happy when I can get my favorite turntable and cartridge working as flawless as possible.
