I've got an old set of Koss headphones that came with a standard 1/4" jack. For convenience, I took the 1/8" cable from a more modern set of AKGs and put it on the Koss. Since then, that cable has broken, and the jack cannot be separated from the cable, but I want to replace it with another 1/8" plug that has a screw-on 1/4" adapter, like most professional headphones do nowadays. I can't seem to find any such component parts on any websites at all... help?

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

Qables carries one. No barrel casing though. =\
Even though it says "for Ultrasone", it is really the standard threaded mini on many headphones, it seems to me after comparing the threaded plug on my HFI-2400 to that of my other headphones with threaded plugs.
wait so what good is it if I can't get a casing for the plug? what are you supposed to do to protect the connection after you're done soldering?

Check my sig, I just used one in my latest recable. A REAN/Neutrik 3.5mm miniplug barrel will work perfectly. Fill the insides up with epoxy.
