Individual tracks that are an experience to listen to on headphones

By an experience, I mean those tracks that make you want to close your eyes and tilt your head back; the ones that bring a smile to your face; the ones you would have your friends listen to just to hear them say "wow". You know what I'm talking about tongue.gif.

I own the Denon AH-D1100. These are tracks that stand out as an experience to listen to through these:

  • Radiohead - Everything In Its Right Place
  • Bjork - Hunter
  • Audioslave - Jewel Of The Summertime
  • Aphex Twin - Meltphace 6
  • Engine Earz Experiment - Kaliyuga
  • Telefon Tel Aviv - Fahrenheit Fair Enough
  • Nine Inch Nails - The Great Destroyer
  • Flying Lotus - Breathe . Something/Stellar Star
  • TV On The Radio - Halfway Home
  • Bare & Muffler - Bloodsport
  • Talvin Singh - Vikram The Vampire
  • The Weeknd - High For This
  • Cyb Orc - Methamorph
  • B.R. Stylers - One Island version
  • Althea & Donna - Make A Truce
  • Ill Skillz - Modular
  • Pearl Jam - Of The Girl
  • SebastiAn - Embody
  • Bauhaus - Small Talk Stinks
  • Wilco - Jesus, Etc.
  • Krystoff - Holy Mount
  • Dj Zinc - Road Rage
  • Frederic Robinson - Mood Swings
  • Ed Solo - Age Of Dub
  • Peaking Lights - All The Sun That Shines
  • Brenmar - So High
  • Tool - Right In Two
  • Ultralyd-Lahtuma
  • Current Value - Twisted (VIP)
  • The Chemical Brothers - Elektrobank
  • Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Red Eyes and Tears
  • Equinox - Smoothed Out
  • Terminus - Shades of Blue
  • Steven Wilson - Harmony Korine
  • Adrian Sherwood - U.R. Sound
  • Concord Dawn - Air Chrysalis

I will be editing this list if I find more tracks that qualify.

Add your own favorites. This way we can all benefit from enjoying the music.

Take a look at the various binaural threads here. If you haven't heard binuaral recordings on headphones, you're in for a treat.

A personal favorite is the album "Flow Motion" by Can. Just wonderful.

Isn't it. I use it as one of my test tracks when auditioning new headphones.
