Why do the Head-Fi search engine's still suck lol? Even when i use google to search a thread on Head-Fi its still bad. I know their are a lot of complaints of this, but why hasent Huddler fixed this?

It's not that bad is it? Plus you can also use the so-called 'Advanced' search.

you may want to provide a bit more of an indication on what specifically you're looking for, entering and expecting to find/why you're unhappy with what it does find

Well the other day, i had been looking under the "Pictures of your computer rigs! Post them here!" under someones specific name, and all the links were just useless. Dont even start me on the Advance search, that would be even less helpful L3000.gif

yea, the search within a thread is to say the least a bit raw lol... can't specify many options including the author name

I highly support the addition of a possibility to search within the present forum or thread. Say I'm in For sale/Cables et c and I want to do a free text search on "XLR". Right now I have to go through advanced search and this obviously goes for all open queries. It means a lot of back and forth or working with parallel windows with advanced search open in one and the other to open the links in. Time wasting and messy.
