Grubdac build distortion

Hello!  I just built a Grubdac and I am getting very distorted sound.  The build went off without a hitch for the most part.  

 

I had problems initially when I missed soldering a single pin on the Wolfson chip but the computer still recognized it without any issue but didn't get any sound.  I fixed the pin but now I'm getting extremely fuzzy distorted sound.

 

Could I have fried the chip or any of the other components?

Carefully check for any solder bridges against a strong back light. Close up pics of the PCB could help...

I actually just figured it out.  I went back over every single pin and joint to make sure nothing was cold.  Gave it a good brushing in some alcohol and now I'm grooving to some sweet tunes.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I first plugged it in but the more I listen the more I'm starting to notice how much of an improvement it is over the onboard sound.
