My wife has gotten us tickets to see Sir Paul in August. Never got to see the group so one of the last members will be as close as it gets.

I saw the beatles at Shea in 1965,I saw Paul in citified last summer with my wife.
Pauls a great perfomer who never left the stage during the concert and did some solos while the others on stage took a break.
He is a legend for good reason,It was a great show you will not be disappointed.

Color me green with envy. I haven't seen Sir Paul yet, but would love to go. Maybe next time he comes through LA.

There are a few entertainers that still "keep it going" while the band takes a break but a rare effort today. I'm curious what his playlist comprises. If the man played one song off of every release we'd be there several hours (no complaints).

I was more of a Lennon fan but John, Paul or George would be a blessing. To have seen them all would be a life achievement.

I believe the show was a little over 2 hours,as for the playlist he is playing Yankee staduim tonight.

You should be able to find some reviews on the net after this weekend.

I actually have the dvd from the citifield concert.I should look to see what he played then.

I saw Sir Paul around 20 years ago at Giants Stadium in New Jersey.....a great show, from what I remember!

Saw Paul last year in Atlanta, sat all day in the scorching heat to see him, It was worth every penny and all the sweat. He puts on a fantastic show, he played two and half hours with no set break. It was great to hear the guy who wrote "Yesterday" perform it live. So many great moments. It might sound cheesy but it was a great day! If you have the chance go see him....

One thing I do clearly remember was being grateful to the sound techs for their having turned down Linda's microphone after a few songs had been played. The singing was best left to her husband, IMO. biggrin.gif

I saw him last August in Toronto. Near 3 hour show. Enjoyed it all, and so will you.

Saw him last year when he came to the Hollywood Bowl. I bought two tickets and treated my dad to a night out.

The concert was nothing short of spectacular and we both had an awesome time. The set list was fantastic and the entire concert lasted almost 3 hours.

You're in for a real treat!

I don't have the words to convey the fullness of satisfaction that Sir McCartney (at 69) provided on August 4th, 2011. It was a life review with an old friend. I feel blessed to have been part of the experience and I may have seen the last Sir Paul McCartney concert in the US. Nothing to would indicate other than to see him again but 69?????? Bruce Springsteen would be the only other artist to compare on stage and they are both in their 60s.

Paul, you are an icon of an era for hope and peace. Thank you for giving part of my moral fabric the flavor of your songs and spirit.

I'm so glad for you HC, what a show...... I couldn't make it this time but when they (the Beatles) played the Gardens in Cincy in the 8/27/1964 about 10 of us neighbor hood kids payed $60.00 bucks for a bus ride to the show with ice cold cokes and chips etc.etc. We had a blast!  You couldn't even hear them (for the girls screaming/creaming) remember no monitors or sound systems back in the day....That show and the group still changed my life!      Sorry HC I missed your call, but I'm glad you had a great time..... What a group he has, huh!  Oh! one of my ex's stole my ticket stub....

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and happy he still puts on a great show. It was roughly 20 years ago that I saw him, and that was a great show back then.beerchug.gif
