I need help on external sound card. ( konnekt 6)

I searched for USB external sound cards. Creative sells 24bit 96khz. And no other sound card available of high quality. I found konnekt 6 for recording sound...i though i can use it as sound card . it has 24bit 192khz sampling.

 

Anyone have opinion.

 

Note: I  have laptop and i can't use my azuntech prelude internal sound card anymore.

 

I need extremely high quality DAC (32bit 192khz) - onkyo may be?

You will be able to use the Desktop Konnekt 6 as a sound card, but then you'd need a FireWire controller.

 

For USB, a popular device in the same price range is the E-MU 0404 USB.

However, there are many other USB DACs.
