B&W IEM - Page 2

The design of the product looks nice and thought out, I hope the sound nice too!

The P5 was, to me, a meh phone. Their Nautilus is absurdly awesome... Let's see how they can put that into an IEM now.

well i wouldnt say the P5 was meh but it was much more focused on smooth rather than detailed

When I auditioned the P5 directly driven by a Marantz CD5003, first reaction: zomg how the sound is muffled! And I thought the K 240 (also driven by a CD5003) was bad enough.

It is involving after ten or fifteen minutes on your head. But to me, the initial impression gave my desire of getting this phone a head-shot.

The Nautilus costs around £48,800 more than the P5's. So it better sound absurdly awesome. In-fact, there is no reason at all for it to be £50k. I don't care if it is perfection, the mark up on the speakers must be shocking.

WTF! priceing at US$180 or £150, adding VAT to the US price that makes US$216, UK price equates to US$241.

its like your begging me not to give you money

Lets hope they are better than the P5's mediocre SQ and horrid fit.

Their speakers aren't that great either.

Relative to the likes of KEF then yes however for the price the 600 and CM series are very good in terms of price/performance ratio.
