I am getting a pair of klh 911b's from best buy when they go on sale this sunday at best buy. Since they only cost $20 bucks I'm trying to get some decent cable that doesn't cost as much as the speakers which is hard to do. I was searching the forums for something and I came across these:

here

I only have one issue with this, which is here thay are making interconnectors here, and I was wondering if these would be appropriate to make as speaker cables. The author of this site really makes these out to be really good. If anyone has any experience with these gimme a heads up. Any advice will be great. Later on in the year I am planning to get a better pair of speakers so hopefully if these work well I can use the same cables.

Speaker cables need to carry a lot of current and voltage. You need big thick gauge wires, 12ga to 16ga, hopefully. If you want to keep it cheap, go to radio shack for some of their 14ga or 16ga. wire. If you want to buy some decent speaker wire and just be done with it, buy their 12ga. wire that comes in a plastic package individually boxed. I think it runs around $20. That will last pretty much any speaker purchase you make unless you decide to go crazy with your budget. There are people with multi-kilobuck systems who think 12ga lamp cable is good enough, so there are all kinds of extreme people out there. The 22ga+ wire being used in interconnects is for line level signals.
