sennheiser HD-25 good for noob? - Page 8

I have been following up the HD-25s for the past few days, and so far, they look to be pretty guuud indeed, but one gripe has been stuck with me, whilst I've read up about these cans. If I switch to velour pads (which I definitely will), how would comfort be affected and more importantly, the sound? I love the sound of a fun headphone which has the capacity to be professional too, and you can change the bits and bobs of. This community has been great so far, so I would appreciate that someone helped me out.

Bass is better controlled, and less emphasized, which might sound more accurate but less fun. At least that's how I remind it.

If you don't sweat, I'm not so sure that the velours are more comfy, I think the regular "pleather" pad get smoother with time.

And you loose slight isolation with velour.

Thanks for the quick response, guess I'll stick to the pleather then!

Cheers
