Sub 500 euros record player (EU)?

Hi all, I'm looking to get a turntable to listen to vinyls through my Adam A3Xs. I'd run the PC and turntable to a USB mixer with phono preamp (perhaps this one: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/numark-m1-dj-mixer/637024000000000?src=3WWRWXGB&ZYXSEM=0&gclid=CKi-sq7e6qkCFQzHKgodtjMIZA) and then to the Adam A3X.

I'd be willing to spend perhaps 500 euros; I know my speakers aren't quite the best for this kind of applications but for now it's what I got and it won't change for a while.

So what would be a good record player for 500 euros for this kind of rig? I listen to mostly everything with guitar in it, from early acoustic blues to all kinds of metal, with Reggae, Ska, Punk, Pop, and a lot of classic rock in between.

Thanks!

Pott, as you are in Europe have a look at Rega. They always used to be my top budget recommendation back in the days before CDs were invented....

The hi-fi dealer I worked for sold hundreds of them in the 1980s.

I expect you'd get a Planar 3 for your budget, which is a very nice sounding deck.

and get their fono mini with it. I'd look for a used P3.

I personally would get a used SL-1200 or similar vintage player and see if you have funds left over for a nice cartridge.
