Headphone Fantasies: I think I've gone too far

Last night I had a dream that I found a pair of LCD-2's at my local flea market. Apparently the some random girl inherited it from her father but she had no idea how much it was worth and thought it was antique wood looking junk so I snagged it for $50.

Because of this dream, I actually found myself driving 15 miles at 8 in the morning to go picking through other peoples junk :/ The best pair of headphones I saw there today were some HD201s.

Anyone else do something crazy like this before?

I dreamt that a raging toddler stamped on my Grados. Woke up at 5:30, not screaming, but distinctly rattled.

Your dream is better.

I didn't dream it, but i thought about it and did something similar

 

So I was looking around some old threads and someone was saying that they find vintage headphones at their local thrift stores.

 

I was out of the house in 10 minutes and to all the thrift stores in town in about 3 hours. No headphones to be found. I still have that gut feeling one can be waiting for me.

i dreamed i had gotten a pair of grado's. then i woke up and got mad i didn't have them.

I do not have any dream of any HPs but I dream to get the AH-d7000 then the Stax Omega and call it the end of the journey.

I still hope that the dream where I found a beat up but working Grado HP1 at a Goodwill for $20 comes true. I still rummage through every Goodwill I can find.

Ironically, a Goodwill is opening up within walking distance. Then again, nobody in my hickish town would have a pair of HP1's in any condition. At least without knowing what they are.

I once had a dream where I went to a Walgreen's and there was a pair of HD800s hanging on the bike rack. It didn't belong to anyone in the store, so I plugged it into my iPod Touch and then woke up.

Dang. I'm conflicted. One part of me wants to look, but the rest of me is telling me it's not worth the nightmares.
