I am still amazed at how great this sounds especially once you factor in the price.

 

I like these as much as I like my M9 and M6, and I'm going to try out different tips to see if they could be even better.

All SH35xx sound the same and T400 size complys fit the best.

I love these over mh1c and ath-ckm500.What's wrong with me anyone? Or what should i buy next?

Why don't you give these a try, I rate them higher then SHE3580. which is very good as well. But CK700 takes things to the E.X.T.R.E.M.E devil_face.gif

If you like the SHE3580 over the CKM500 you should know better than to judge earphones by their price wink.gif

I left all of phones at home, so today i only had my 3580 at office,  so all day i have been using them, man.. they sound fantastic, add the price and its a no brainer.

 

maybe i got a defective ckm500, but i dont like them at all.  Not even close to my 3580, but maybe i got a defective ckm, the bass is ok but other than that...

Hi,

I bought the SHE3580 a while ago, based on Joe Bloggs's review - thank you! - and I like them very much, I also bought 2 more for backup, while they were on sale for $7 a piece.

The first pair broke around the jack, but I fixed it :)

As much as I like them, I would like to upgrade. I want something similar in sound signature, but with more clarity on mids and better sound stage.

Budget is around 80$, I use a Sansa Clip+ with no amp, and I buy in Europe.

What do you guys recommend?

Joe, you were right, just bought a black friday discounted poweramp app today, my she3575 now pumping more bass and sound stage from the bass and treble preset with replay gain. Very happy with this purchase. Lol smily_headphones1.gif

Hmm.  I just looked at complys in the flesh at a shop again and it seems 200, 400 and 500 are all really close to each other in diameter.  If anything 200 looks a bit wider bore than 400 but I didn't ask them about it.  Regardless, I've personally tested and used 400 with no problems so those are a safe buy.

Joe Bloggs, can you please post your EQ settings for Rockbox parametric EQ?

I have a rockboxed Clip+ and use the SHE3570.

 

I tried your recommendations and put this values for now, and sounds better to me:

 

LS : gain: 0.0 ; cutoff: 60 ; Q: 0.7

PK1: gain: 2.0 ; cutoff: 200 ; Q: 1.0

PK2: gain: 5.0 ; cutoff: 500 ; Q: 1.0

PK3: gain: - 4.0 ; cutoff: 4000 ; Q: 1.0

HS: gain: - 2.0 ; cutoff: 12.000 ; Q: 0.7

 

Precut: -2.0 db

 

Crossfeed: Simple (Meier)

Thanks for the review :-) I am glad I bought this she3581 ( white )  This sound so good and i prefer this over my Klipsch s4 :-)  I paid my at $19SGD ( just wander why SG selling at much high price than US ? ) 

 

Highly recommended !! You need to put this in your ear to believe it !!
