I said that I made my headstrap, not that I kept it wink_face.gif

I don't know if you're being cynical when you say that you would have bought it for $5. If you are, I understand a companies need to add all the process costs, but a leather strap for $ 1 0 0 is too much.

If not, I will go rummaging in my d&c lab bin to see if the strap is still there and I will gift it for you. beerchug.gif

I would have to agree. While I did buy the headband there is no way it was worth what they are asking. Put the headband in one hand and a hundrend dollar bill in the other and if you think they are the same then think again. Then I guess the guy who was selling the JMoney headbands which I bought one of should have been selling for 150.00$ No they were under 50$ and made very well not that thess arent made well just not worth 100$ I do believe 50$ would have been alot more in line with what would be fair seeing how the only ones who would be buying them are those who already spent 900$ plus on the headphones.

The main thing is, the original headband is very comfortable to begin with, in my subjective opinion.

I agree. The foam is very comfortable :)

In my experience most people's complaints about the original headband were not about comfort but about looks. The new leather headband definitly changes the looks of the LCD2's. Whether that change is for the better is up to each individual.

That's very nice of you to have a look :-)

At the moment, I think $100 is a bit pricey, since my foam headband is like new despite months of use and very comfortable - but I would like to have a leather wrap-around to use when friends want to try it - and to try it in the recording studio. I don't mind my own hair getting stuck in the foam, but the hair from other people, as well as their hair products.... not so attractive....

A (reasonably) cheap (easily removable) leather wrap for the foam headband woud be excellent.

100 bucks is a lot, i think i am gonna diy a headband to "personalize" my headphone, i think this will exceed the cool factor of a leather headband, and hopefully comfort.

im interested in DIY-ing my own headband as well. I have no idea how though. Im not sure what is a comfortable stuffing material. Does anybody have tutorials or guides for headband DIY? :D
