For Sale:
Grado SR125i + Wooden shells (Price Drop: Free Shipping)

Will Ship To: CONUS

I bought them in January of this year, used them for about a month or so after getting them, and haven't really gone back to them since the arrival of other gear. They just don't get enough use. They were opened up and Dynamat was placed on the driver in preparation of some mods, but the mods did not happen. The rod block was removed to make measurements for a new headband, but I ended up not being able to move any farther on the band mod.

No driver mods, all mesh and grilles are in tact. Pads are unmodded. Comes with original box and papers. Will be double boxed for shipping.

I cover shipping and PayPal fees in the US. If I must ship outside the US, buyer pays shipping.

Info on the shells is in my next post.

I'll throw in some cracked cocobolo outer shells that can be used as is, but need work (or a replacement) to be a permanent solution.

Old Bilavideo design:
grooved shell that sits around inner shell
outer lips are broken around the cable notch (happened in the mail to me originally)
notches are too small to fit the stock 125 cable as they are now
grooves are uneven so one cup sits better than the other
Both grills he included were junk, so I won't even bother finding them.

To use now, they must be seated, and use the headband pressure against your head to keep them on
If fixed (groove, chip, notch,), they could be used as a permanent shell replacement, but for the time and money involved in trying all that yourself, you might be better off buying some.

Yes, I am bashing nearly every aspect of these, they were poorly built to begin with, but if you want to mess with wooden shells without paying just to test woodies, I'm throwing these in for nothing. I just want to disclose what's wrong with them.

Got pics of the woodies/problems with them?

Yes I do. Pics added to the main post. The grills have been removed since that picture (one was held in by Dynamat as you can see and looked pretty bad, and the other didn't sit where it was placed)

Like I said, they don't fit the 125s completely, but would likely be changeable, useable on some recabled Grados, or some SR60/80/MS1
