I sort of regret the vinyl resurgence. It has become trendy and is bringing in a lot of people who only want a turntable to look cool. They don't care about setting it up correctly and seem happy with plastic decks.

Quality used vinyl is getting harder to find because of this, too. Snapped up by people who don't know you're supposed to clean LPs and then run on a cheap USB deck. Often ruining good vinyl.

This is why I've been buying a lot more cheap CDs these days. Usually $1-$3 and ones recorded before the Loudness War sound quite good.
