Does anyone know if it's possible for a DIY Hi Fi Chazz 2 OTL headphone amp to drive Stax electrostatic headphones, with a suitable adapter?

It's not an electrostatic amp, so no.

If by suitable adapter you mean one of the stax transformer boxes, then maybe.

May not play as loud as you might like.
