I had the same problem. $2000 in and didn't need it.

Guess what I did?

I spent $1000 of it on a flight to Japan.

Slept like a hobo for 3 months and explored the country spending off the $1000 as I could

then I had to return home and got my college to pay for my flight back because I'm a "Asset" to them. Suck ups.

But if I was you, buy something you'd like, not expensive, like a cheap, but good $300 tube amp and save the rest. You might turn to a new addiction and need the extra cash. I know i have a good amount of money in my account but eating ramen as we speak because I'm cheap. I'd rather have money for a lot of things then into two items I like.

I'd like to hear your story! as of I find stuff in japan are expensive!!!!

But it depends on your financial situation. You should have about six months of living expenses put aside. If you're adequately covered, then go for it. The nice thing about the Zana is that it has a way of killing upgraditis. It's an amp you can spend the next 20 or 30 years with.

I vote for W22!

You have to be sure when you buy something that cost you over $2000 though. And let me tell you this is a dark path. very very dark.

I doubt it you would have that big open mouth again after the first time you heard a audiophile hPs that were well driven. I still remember the first time when i put on the Sennheiser 555. WOWOW~ word can't describe it and I fall in love with them ever since.

Speak of the Sennheiser I've always been their fan so.. I vote for something like HD555/598( i kinda think getting 595 or 558 it's  pointless ). And you don't really need an expensive amp for them, they come out great from you laptops! and you can just be done with it and cost you a lot less.

remember ignorant is the bliss~!

Just walk away. Don't turn back. Put the money in the bank and forget you ever heard the term or concept "Audiophile".

Happy to live without the audiophile tag, but that doesnt mean throwing the baby out with that bathwater......
