Just wonder, since the RA1 circuit is quite basic and many clones available. Any one try comparing clone with the original RA1? Do they sound similar?

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

The RA1 is basically a cmoy, that's it. Try finding one on ebay or something.

I have a RA1 and a cmoy with "RA1" parts. I would not say they are identical but would also mention the RA1 is not with half its price.
Hi, regardless of the look and price.
Do they sound the same? RA1 is not sold here but if clone sound similar I'll just get a clone otherwise, I am thinking about hunting a used RA1 on ebay if price is reasonable. I know there are better price AMP out there that potentially sounds better :) just want to experience how the sound of Grado design Amp will sound like :)
