I think that she copies french singers particularly Mylene Farmer. I don't mean it's bad. It's just what comes to mind first.

Maybe inspired and influenced, copying is a bold statement.

I really enjoyed the Taiwanese bands by the way.

On another thread this Korean electro-disco group was mentioned. Cassette Schwarzenegger.

Considering the amount of videos and length of the thread, I have some catching up to do.. forgive me if these have been posted! Also, it would be nice if people could post at least the romanized band names for ease of searching the thread.

Sakanaction

Polysics

I'd be a little surprised if Polysics haven't been posted, but I searched and nothing showed up... There's another version to that music video, if anyone's interested in seeing it.

So, I had no idea that Nagi Yanagi (of supercell fame) was releasing a new album in conjunction with Jun Maeda.  When i discovered this earlier this evening, I listened to the three available songs.  my favorite by far was:

amazing song.  cannot wait for the full album to come out.

I'm a big fan of Nagi, and was so disappointed that she wasn't going to be doing vocals for supercell anymore. Now I can listen to nagi's voice again <3
