that would be correct the K518 DJ is all black with a 3m cable, the K518 LE has various colours and a 1.2m cable.
It is a very good entry can.

I really like the 518's colors! I almost was going to buy a pair but I forgot I don't go outside that often :)

Also, the only difference (that I've read) between the 518 and 81 is that the 518 has more colour choices :D Whereas the K81 only has 1 colour.

FWIW, the K81DJ's, IMO, are too horribly sibilant to listen to once the felt pad is removed, and too boomy with it inserted. I can't find my inserts, so I don't even listen to mine any more due to the harsh treble. The bass (pad removed) is probably the most fun sounding I've heard, though.

Or you can just to get an IEM if you prefer, you can get the Used IE7 around $100

they are not silibant or harsh in any shape or form. They are smooth, and in your face sounding, very energetic, but not harsh nor silibant, and thats with the felt pads removed. (my opinion, so dont take offense please)

Hey guys. I am looking at the 518's. but I can't find a place to buy them. Maybe i'm not looking hard enough but there isnt many places that have them.

Gonna toss this out there because no one has mentioned it.  Sennheiser PX100ii's.  I love these.  They have wonderful sound with plenty of bass with no eq straight out of an iphone/pod.   Will save you about $40 too, and they fold up so they are portable.

Senn PX200-II, the sound is anything as good if not better than what I currently have. Good build, compact and foldable too.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. For some reason I really want extremely large headphones. And they have to look good too.

I really like the hd448, the m50s, and the 518's
