Like a guitar has it's tone controls. Can a Cmoy or other amps have tone controls as well? and how do you go about adding these controls to a amp? Also, what potentiometers change what tones?

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

Tone Changing Potentiometers
headphone amps dont generally have tone control or equilizer controls. you could try this, its a portable guitar amp. not sure how well it would work for music though.

I have a quick unrelated question that I wasn't going to start a new thread for.
I have a RK0971221Z05 with SPST switch lugs. Which lugs are which on this Pot? Instead of using a switch I figured I'd use the switch on this pot. So how do I orient the wires or does it not matter at all as long as the connection is connected.
for spst switches, it does not matter what wire you connect to which terminal
