I just want to commend Steve for being so helpful and supportive with all of my crazy projects. He knows his stuff, is extremely friendly and very helpful. I hope to transact business with him in the future cause I feel like I need to pay him for his help one of these days...

Thanks Steve!

Couldn't be more happy with the product. Tool no longer sounds like a floppy wall of sound, and Gentle Giant's intricacies just became that much better.

Does Steve's cables sound better than the Toxic ones? Probably not as Toxic put gold in his. What 's in yours, Steve?wink.gif

You do realize gold has less conductivity than copper. Not that it even matters because its such a miniscule amount of gold to boot.

Just wanted to share that I recently purchased a Q cable (second one) from Steve. You simply can not ask for better service or craftsmanship when buying an audio cable. I sent dozens of emails to Steve during the process and he faithfully answered all of them kindly and patiently.

I ended up with a beautiful 3 meter dark brown cable in french silk. It's terminated to mini xlr's and will be adaptable to both my Sennheiser and HFM headphones. The cable and Steve exceeded my expectations. I couldn't ask for anything more or recommend the product and Steve more highly.

Many thanks Steve...

Followup:

I originally ordered a Q cable for  LCD2, and I was quite satisfied.

I since also bought a He500, wishing I could use the same cable for both. Ando also wanted to experiment hookup directly to speaker amp as orthos can handle some power.

So I contact Steve and he hooked me up.

I got the new french silk cable and for the he500 I got a set of adapters so I could use the same cable with both headphones.

at the amplifier end Steve I could interchange 2 adapters , one which was banana plugs and the other is 1/4 TRS.

So now I got a great one cable solutions and Im happy as a clam.

thanks again Steve, for your great products and wonderful service!

Any pictures of those new cables with min XLR adaptors? I am concerned those might ruin the ergonomic and add weight to those beautiful cables. rolleyes.gif

Are cables available for the HD800 that does not use the adapters?  I'm trying to keep the cable weight down..

I don't believe so, I don't even think they did the adapters before so I think they will be your only option if you end up going with the Q's for your HD800's, but Steve can correct me if I'm wrong.
