I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

I won't comment except to refer you to their patent, which is 7,126,055.

Thanks Steve... seems this is a taboo topic.
I read the patent, and now have an opinion that I probably shouldn't share.

In my experience, it seems to make break-in happen almost immediately, rather than over a number of hours. Other than that, I can't tell a difference between DBS being on or off. Considering AQ charges hundreds of extra dollars for this "feautre" combined with the fact that there are WAY better sounding cables than AQ, my advice would be skip.
