Does such a thing exist? Audio signal router: PC audio + vinyl turntable to powered monitors

I have two Adam A3Xs running in stereo currently plugged into my PC's audio out.

I'm wondering there exists something that would allow me to plug both the turntable and the PC into, and output the signal to the Adams while being able to select the input.

Listen to my audio tracks, get bored of MP3s and switch to a vinyl...

Ideally with a volume control and headphone out..!

Any ideas..? Thanks :)

Simple switchbox / source selector to change inputs and send to the speakers.

If you need volume control, it's basically a preamp.  Most certainly so if you want headphone output as well.

a usb dac should do the trick. I have a Lexicon u22 which goes out to my krk rp8s. My tt is wired to the xlr mic inputs (there are two) which can double as a stereo line in with the push of a button. I simply adjust the monitor mix to whichever I am listening ("direct" for the TT, "playback" for the pc). Just look for a stereo line in to wire your phono stage through.

The lexicon comes with a headphone out with its own volume as well as speaker volume and mic/line input volume for each channel.

Edit: Oh and what is awesome about it is that if I only want to listen to vinyl, I don't even have to turn the pc on because the lexicon is self-powered.

This looks like it could do the trick nicely! What do you connect your monitors to though..? The TRS/jack outputs?

My Adams are currently linked via 1/8 jack in the PC and RCA input on a monitor, in stereo (so I can control the overall volume with just one monitor).

It has 2, 1/4" Balanced TRS outs, I use the TRS ins on the KRKs. Simple instrument cables do the trick well. You ca get cables that are 1/4" to XLR male for the XLR inputs on your A3X (or RCA if you prefer).

Mhmm I see thanks. Unfortunately it has no phono preamp, which it seems I may require if I get a Rega P1.

I got advised to go for a simple mixer, but then I wouldn't get the overall volume controls + headphone out I think... :( Argh. I wish I weren't such a noob.

I got advised to go with this http://www.thomann.de/lu/numark_m_1_usb.htm.
