I just started ripping to FLAC this weekend, and so EAC has been really efficient with that.

 

Before, I used to rip to VBR with EAC using LAME, and I still want to do so because I have several DAPs with small memory.

 

I tried using 2 profiles, but EAC still rips to FLAC when I try to use the profile intended for ripping to MP3. So could anyone help me out with it? Is it possible to rip to both FLAC and MP3 easily? From what I've gathered, it seems like I have to edit the command line and file extension output every time I want to change from MP3 to FLAC or vice-versa.

Are profile supposed to be for each optical drive?

 

If there are good programs that convert from FLAC to VBR MP3, I wouldn't mind using those, but I'd rather just use one program for everything if it's possible.
