where to get 3.5mm short extender ?

Hello,

 

I was browsing through the portable rigs thread, and saw some people had a short extender (maybe 2in?) coming from either a ipod or other dap to the headphones. This would seem beneficial for my laptop/any iphone or working out, as i have snapped/separated enough straight plugs. Havent had much luck searching the internet or forums, maybe bc I dont know the name of what im looking for. 

 

Basically looking for a 1-2in quality cable that extends headphones and keeps them from snapping off laptops etc.

You are looking for a cable with a male/female plug?

yes, I assume would have a straight or right angle male and and straight female end

The easiest would be to make one by yourself. I guess costs of $20

You are not sure??

 

But you are are sure when  the blister says hello??

 

No fear to make one if you have a soldering station and solder and the plus and time..about 10 minutes..if not I can make one but it would be not practical because GER-USA is long..
