This is one of the first "high-end" giveaways I've seen. Very good stuff!

Dieses Wettbewerb ist sehr wunderbar!

Wow, this is amazing! I am dreaming about this amp one year already, have no money to afford one. Maybe this way? ;)

I once saw this amp at a german music store (I don't know exactly if it was the SPL Phonitor)

But it was great!

The person who'll win that great amp will be amaaaazed!

Mal sehen, wen der Zufall trifft :-)

Greetings,

Simon

Hey Rik!

Cool contest for a Phonitor prize!  I've been reading about it and it looks like a real winner.  Thank you for the opportunity.  I hope a head-fi'er wins it!

Must the comments be approved by SPL before showing up? I've posted 3 times in the "free phonitor" thread, but my comment never shows up confused_face.gif

I'm new to facebook, so maybe that's normal redface.gif

I would love to enter this contest, but call me cynical (realistic) I assume the winner isn't going to be chosen at random. If I'm right the irony will be thick, but I can only assume the winner will be a prolific poster, has plenty of gear to test it against and writes plenty of reviews. Why would it be any other way, but the irony stems from the fact that such an individual will already have so many toys and perhaps the disposable income available to purchase such a wonderful piece of equipment anyway if they wanted to do so.

The idealist in me would like to think that some less well healed member who really could use such a fantastic prize would have a chance. I think SPL should have posted their screening criteria ahead of time. Not that what they have asked to do was any inconvenience at all, far from it, but it would be nice to know who the ideal candidate they are looking to award this prize to would be.

Regardless of my post, as others have said, I think it is a very generous offer, just don't give it to somebody with money! They can afford to buy it anyway, let somebody with less have a chance. I have always commented that the well off are constantly given plenty for free because everybody wishes to win their favour. Sort of ironic isn't it? Good luck everyone.

Well, it sure would be fun to win one. Good luck to everyone, and good luck to myself. ;)
