Nuforce Icon RJ45 cable question: banana plug tips cut, what do I do?

Hi all,

I just picked up a second-hand Nuforce Icon (http://www.nuforce.com/hp/products/icon/index.php).

However, the previous owner strangely cut off the banana plug ends of the supplied RJ45 cat 5 speaker cable. The cables look something like this: http://estore.nuforce.com/products/NuForce-Icon-Speaker-Wire-%282M%29.html

Can I just twist the exposed wires and just connect them to my speaker terminals?

Or can I just twist the exposed wires and connect them to some regular banana plugs?

Thanks!

I can't seem to find it.

The Nuforce Icon page only has a picture of the RJ45 pin assignments as below. Assuming this is for those who want to DIY their own cable from scratch?

If so, does that mean that for the + and - connection, I can twist everything (except DO NOT CONNECT!) and either connect to banana plugs or straight into the speaker terminals?

Bump! Anyone care to chime in?

It looks like you can, as long as you don't mix + and - in the same bunch. But for $29, and if it's for wiring both sides, why not just get that for peace of mind?
