Recommendations for Soundcard and or Dac for my setup??

I currently have an Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 as my soundcard. It has always had handshaking issues via HDMI. I have a pair of Beyerdynamic dt770's being powered by a Schitt Audio amp and the soundcard as my DAC. I also have a Pioneer Elite Receiver and a set of Definitive Technology Pro Cinema 600 set of 5.1 speakers I use with the soundcard as well. I am tired of having to reset my computer because the soundcard wont handshake with the receiver. Looking for recommendations on a soundcard and or external dacs that allows me to use both my headphones and speakers(not on the same external dac just mean on the soundcard if thats what is recommended). I don't mind having to change settings and what not to switch between the two. I mainly listen to music and play games. When I do play games I usually wear my headphones so any surround special stuff I am not too worried about on soundcards.

Forgot to add. I am looking for quality here. Most of my music is in flac format so looking for decent quality stuff. My budget is ok and if I have to splurge a little I don't mind.
