D7000 re-terminate to balanced

I need to get my D7000 re-terminated to balanced 4-pin XLR and make an adapter XLR to SE.  Is there a place/shop I can get this done locally?  I can order the parts myself but don't have a soldering iron to this done.

I'm not local but I can help if you feel comfortable with shipping it.

Hey Brandon,

Thanks for the offer to help but I'd rather do this locally.

Looks like I will have to learn to to this myself hehe

I had my D7000 reterminated here http://www.zynsonix.com/Recables.htm  , the cost was $85.00, steep I think but I couldn't do it myself.

Just watch some videos on how to solder cables on youtube.  Seems easy enough IMO.

Also, the stock D7000 cable has 1 red, 1 white, and 2 black.

Red : R+

White : L+

Black : L+

Black : L-

How to tell which black to L+ and L-? Or it doesn't matter?

Thanks

Compare to the section left in the 1/4" plug.

You may want to try your hand making cables before you start working on a pair of expensive headphones.

Ok got it thanks.  I have a couple of unused LCD2 cables and maybe I should practice on them first.
