I recently resurrected my old Sony X1060 after it was caught in a rain storm 3 weeks ago. When I got the DAP working the only problem was the the home button wouldn't function. I then opened up the DAP to find a tiny circuit board underneath the home button but it doesn't seem to be connected to anything. Anyway while opening up my X1060 I think I have malfunctioned the display as when I put it back together and hit the reset button the screen went a weird White colour with streaks of colour through it. I opened up the DAP again but the cables have been connected properly. I then hit the reset button but now the display doesn't work. The DAP is still working nevertheless because when I connect it to my laptop it is still identified as a device and I'm still able do browse what is on the X1060.
Does anyone have a schematics document for the Sony X Series DAPs?
