Hello everyone ... I just bought some (3)12ax7 Sylvania/Baldwin 12ax7 tubes and one of them tested on the sellers B&K 667 tester @ 81 / 87 

where 88 & up = NOS and 65 min good ...

 

and the seller said:

 

"1 side stronger than other great for V1 in amp"  evil_smiley.gif

 

I will be using them in a MingDa MC84 C-07 ... just to tube roll and to try and learn different sounds ...

the other two tubes i bought tested at   86/83   and   86/90.

 

  Any thoughts to share tube gurus?
