Well I think I don't think I will end up getting the FX500 or FX700.  I am nervous that I would break them an I travel a lot and feel that I would mess them up.  Also everyone is saying different things about them being either clear or muddy and I don't know what to believe.  Any other considerations with decent bass (doesn't have to be headbanging, just present), durable (I think the CZ's are about the most durable possible so not as durable as them), and of course has reference like clarity?

Did you check Ortofons e-Q5?

cant get any more durable then that.

I agree with Eric considering you don't need superb isolation and need very good build (The Sony has the best build at this price point).
