Thanks! :) Will it be too late once I start hearing noise though? I know I'm being paranoid but I really value my gear.

Nah, bro-han if you start hearing noise, hit me up to reterminate your cable, or just order a Neutrik 3.5mm and they're super easy. It's like soldering a wire to the side of a barn!

 

Ultrasone would take care of you too, they don't cut corners with their builds!
