So I am on the hunt for a Pro-ject Debut III currently, and hope to have one in the next few weeks (eBay luck permitting). It'll kind of be my first step into entry-level audiophile gear and I'm wondering what I should do next. My set up currently is basically just an Onkyo TX-SR501 and a pair of 2-Pi towers, and I use this for everything from crappy TV shows to enjoying a scotch and relaxing music late at night. In terms of music I do enjoy a lot of things, but I don't need a lot of loudness and I mostly just listen to quiet, relaxing things like Phillip Glass and Bon Iver. Is what I've got good enough for the turntable, or does anyone have any recommendations for where I should upgrade, and to what? Thanks!
