Pleases Model A vs Luxman sq38 vs Leben CS600

I am contemplating purchasing one of the following. Prior to auditioning each amp I would like to know what the wider community thinks & would be grateful for any helpful suggestions or incites. Oh and by the way enjoy the weekend smily_headphones1.gif


Plessis Model A ( made in Australia)

Luxman sq38

Leben CS600


Of these three mighty fine tube amps which amp would be more suited to

A driving high end headphones eg edition 8, Audeze etc
B doubling as main stereo amp for magneplaner speakers
C most versatile
D best value
E any other notable contenders

your not likely to find someone that's heard all three with planar headphones and Maggies.

 

I'm not a fan of the Leben as I find it soft sounding to me ears, lacking in drive and leading edge attack. It may also not be enough to power the Maggies. I do not know the other two to offer an opinion.

The Plessis amps are rebadged and sold for much cheaper as the Classic brand - actually I am not sure which way the rebadging happens! In Aus coemaudio and some others sell classic amps at much cheaper price than the Plessis brand. Also, more people are likely to have heard of Classic.
