Since the old cable was pretty worn I decided to have a go and finished it last night. yet I'm quite low on cash now so they might have to go. The new cable consists of 4 strand of UPOCC silver, the total length is around 6m (4x1.5), if you dont know it's the silver cable manufactured by neotech. High quality I can say.
The jack used is Neutrik. (see no difference in terms of sound quality between the 2 so swapped the more expensive one in the end)
They work great now. I made some new wire entries (guess that's what they are called) for the 2 pieces and stablized the inside with some hot glue.
With normal walking pace there's no microphonic to me, but it can become audible if you move around a lot (jogging)
The tips will not be included due to hygenic reasons. but you can get some pretty cheap from ebay.

I'm not in the UK at the moment, but it will be shipped with expressed service with tracking code.
