Good day,

Iam new to the audio scene so ive been trying to assemble a little setup, which includes a Sony BDP-BX57.

I have an Electric Avenues PA2V2 and a grados SR60i.

 

I have been attempting to listen to audio from cds and blu rays over the TOS link connection on the Sony BDP-BX57 with no success. The audio only pipes through HDMI no matter what settings i choose.

 

I have a TOS link cable and a tos to 3.5mm connector, that i plug into the PA2V2 and the grados into that.

 

Am i missing a piece of equipment between the BD and my amp? or some setting iam not enabling?

 

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
