So...what now?

Hello there to the Head-Fi masses.

I have a dilemma - I'm in quite an audio mood recently so I'm taking to upgrade my listening set ups a bit. However I've hit a point where I know there's more to be upgraded - but don't know what to work on first.

My home set up is fine - full hi-fi with everything sounding nice.

My laptop set up, may of only just started, but is going well. I am using my HD650s with a Firestone Audio Fubar4 DAC/AMP and life is good.

My portable set up - is bad. I've got an iPhone4 and a Zune HD, but with only V-Moda Vibe IIs to listen via.

So what do you think? What should my first move be, price range £100-£300.

It can be either one piece of kit of a whole bunch as long as it's in that price range.

Help me Head-Fi'ers. You've ruined my wallet and now you need to make up for it!

Any chance you've paired these at all? I love the look of the IE8s (and obviously love Sennheiser anyway) but it sucks that there are fakes about: means I can't really try for any bargains lol. And the NuForce looks really sweet after reading the 6Moons review but can't help seeing the RS Predator and feeling tempted. Gonna seriously consider the IE8s soon ksc75smile.gif

I think FireStone products are a really good way to create a first system like that. They're really well priced, solid build and good looks. Not to mention the out of the box great sound quality. But then they can be upgraded with new oamps as well as the dedicated power supply - might be worth a look dude.
