I'm thinking of getting the beyer dt 880's (250ohms) and due to a restricted budget, I'm probably going to opt for the Penguin "Caffeine" amp. Good idea/bad idea/suggestions?

I don't think they sell them anymore, but the cmoyBB is a very good choice. If you're ordering from the man himself, tell him your headphone impedance so he can give you the high gain version.
